Bima Suci is one of the most popular chapter of Javanese shadow puppet ( wayang kulit ). This story has a deep spiritual meaning. It plays many time in the shadow puppet theater art play. Bima, whom also know as Wrekudara, is getting mature and he gets a duty from his teacher, Priest Durna.
In the Javanese shadow puppet (wayang kulit), Arjuna also known as Janaka, Begawan Mintaraga, Begawan Ciptaning, Arjuna Wiwaha, Karitri king, and Madukara knight. He is the reincarnation of Endra gods. Arjuna born as the third of Pandawa family.
In the Javanese shadow puppet, Werkudara also known as Bima, Bratasena, and Jodhipati knight. He is the second of Pandawa after Yudistira. He is a reincarnation of Bayu gods. He is big, as big as a giant size.
He speak with loud and deep voice, he never speak calm nor polite to everyone except to Ruci gods.
